TELIUM RELEASES PBXSYNC TO EASE MANAGEMENT OF LARGE ASTERISK SERVER FARMS
ITSP and large-scale Asterisk operators can manage 1000 Asterisk servers as
easily as 1

Waterloo, Ontario - Telium today announced the release of PBXSync, a
software tool which makes it possible to manage from 10 to 1000 Asterisk
servers as easily as managing 1 server. PBXSync was designed for operators
of large Asterisk server farms, Internet Telephony Service Providers, and
multi-site offices looking to cost effectively manage their collection of
Asterisk PBX's.

At a fundamental level PBXSync synchronizes files, MySQL databases, SQLite
databases, and more across an unlimited number of servers. It can also do
so intelligently, ensuring data only flows in certain directions, at certain
times, etc. PBXSync can even customize the data upon arrival, allowing each
server to have a customized dialplan, LCR data, routes, extensions, etc.
while still sharing a common base with all other servers. PBXSync will even
command Asterisk servers to reload specific configuration data once
synchronization is complete, so there is never any telephony down time.

PBXSync was designed to operate across wide area networks, with resiliency
and data protection built-in from the ground up. All database
synchronization is performed by SQL transactions (never block level
synchronization), so in case of connection failure the database is
guaranteed to be in a valid state. File synchronization uses intermediate
files, so applications are never exposed to half-updated files. To minimize
traffic, PBXSync sends differentials (what's changed) between servers so
sync speed is maximized, while traffic is minimized.

PBXSync is already in use at a large ITSP and a global operator of PBX's.
PBXSync is available today at http://telium.io/pbxsync , and is offered in
both free and commercial editions.
