The tires were made by a Japanese company, according to this article
on Forbes.com and you are certainly not comparing thousands to eighty
eight? Don't really get the logic....

http://www.forbes.com/2000/09/07/mu3.html

"Tyson also says that the 88 deaths are linked to all 47 million
Bridgestone/Firestone tires the NHTSA has studied, not just the 6.5
million that have been recalled."

Thanks,
Steve Totaro

Besides this is a voip list, we should be trying to bridge these divides.

We can barely even protect ourselves from poison and counterfeit goods
from China, and have no real recourse. How many dogs died? How many

I seriously doubt (and hope) that spam is high on the list at this point.

I can't believe the Discussion on this board has gotten so political. People everywhere should be part of this new world economy which VOIP and other products are shared. Please keep in mind that any business that products a bad product will suffer. I'm sure every Chinese manufactures will have the same greed as US manufactures to make as much money and to cut corners whenever they can get away with it. I welcome the world economy to spread the wealth to all the people.

That cosmopolitanism and internationalism cannot extend to culturally
relativistic arguments concerning spam and other unsolicited material,
as well as other ethically grounded aspects of the nexus of commercial
or technical interaction.

As many have remarked elsewhere, in varying shades of histrionics, "The
line must be drawn HERE!"

"[B]ut if jimmy pan do not send these spams, how can I know they can
provide these products which I am interested, so some spam maybe are not
useful to you but useful to some other people," is a preposterous and
specious argument and should be called out for such. Bad deeds should
go punished and value judgments should be made.

Also, whatever claim this "new world economy of VoIP" can make to
quality and robustness, it will quickly erode if this type of
encroachment by unsophisticated, Philistine practices is permitted.

Developed, modern economics and business practices in the
professional/technical services sector are NOT to conflated with a rug
bazaar under any circumstances.

Stop spamming me. Your spam is unacceptable. You got my address copied
from the asterisk list, along with a lot of others, and then sent us
spam. That is not only unacceptable, and illegal in the US, but it also
destroys the possibility of doing business with you. Because you are a
cheater, and not trustworthy, with no respect for your customers.

This message is copied to the asterisk-biz list, which already knows
about your spamming (because you spammed its members directly). Stop
spamming me.

I included a quote of the spam message in the message I just sent you,
to which you just replied. It's quoted/appended below, as sent by "Jimmy
Pan", though the message I received also included an image of your
product with embedded text. I asked others on the list, and several
others confirmed that they received the same message. I received the
same spam message, but with a different product/pitch image, in
February, also quoted/appended below.

Please advise what steps you are taking to stop spamming me.
