Hi all,

We have now developed some new products which are Mini GPS car tracker and controller and Pet GPS tracker,
When install them in your car or truck then you can track the position of your car or truck, if your car is theft, you can make the oil and power off from a far away place, so the theft can not drive away your car. You can also tie it to your dog or children or old people, then you can track them to avoid lost.
GSM module is Siemens and the GPS module is SIRFIII, if anyone is interested in, please kindly let me know, I think they are very good products and many people like them, do hope they are helpful to your business, if you do not think, then please discard this mail.
Thanks
Regards

Andy,

Sound interesting although totally off topic from this thread or
Asterisk in any way, shape, or manner.

Do you have an literature? Specs, website?

I would suggest not shutting off the oil or the engine will seize, cut the fuel.

Any demo units available? Price? FOB?

Thanks,
Steve Totaro

Of course, it will never work again as you seized the engine,

Replacement engine - $5,000
Tow truck - $500
Rental $1,000
Satisfaction of knowing the thief had to walk home - priceless.

You no need to replace the engineer or any other comments, after you cut off the oil and electronic of your car, the theft can not drive away of you car, and you can track your car by the GPS tracker then you can find it with police.

Bart

I am also interested in pricing, and a user manual, etc

To bring this more on topic, I could see an Asterisk application, that
when the user signs into their phone que, it automatically disables the
fuel line to their car, thus it can't be stolen while they are working, etc.

When the user signs out of their que/follow me location, the asterisk
application would automatically re-enable their fuel line.

It would be painful though if your spouse took your vehicle that day...

Another application could be fleet vehicles, and an asterisk phone based
time and attendance system. Keep the vehicles fuel lines disabled, and
the driver "clocks in" it would then enable the fuel line for the
driver's specific vehicle.

And this works double duty, if asterisk crashes the admins cant leave
until they fix it!

or disabled by the very admins that find themselves stranded on the
freeway when their cars fuel gets shut off because asterisk crashed
while they were away Smile

In all honesty rather than going with this idea too much further and
trying to ram a technology into a place it may not be well suited for,
how about looking at how asterisk deals with presence information. It
could do presence which would include extra data, how that gets used is
upto the individual channels and apps that all interoperate with it.
Having a GPS attached to a vehicle which relays the data to a server
could just extend the existing infrastructure.

While I dont think that something that cuts the fuel upon theft (which
has to first be detected) is a good way to go for an asterisk add-on,
certainly integrating this into asterisk so you can call a TTS app that
would give you control over it may. That could report location, average
speed, etc. That could also all be done without any modification to
asterisk itself and just via an addon like an AGI.

Dear Bart,

I am sorry for my late reply, I am in the deep night when you send the mail, the sample cost will be usd250 which is a little exepensive than the wholesale price, when you make the bulk order we will give many discounts. Also could you kindly advise where should we ship the sample to so I can let you know the shipping cost.

Best regards
andy
