it is not a premission problem.

libtermcap, libcurses or libncurses are required
these are missing
pls let me know exactly what is the platform you're running ?

try sudo apt-get install libncurses5
and apt-get install libtermcap-devel

you also most likely will need apt-get install flex and so on
just install what the config is looking for

if you have synaptic installed you can find all packages needed there.
