Sorry all,

I've tried to send a few messages to the list over the last couple of weeks and
none seem to get delivered unless I reply to an existing message.

Hmm. This one obviously went through. The other email that I sent had a link in
it to announce an update to a commerical project that I'm working. I posted an
announcement about the same thing maybe 6 months ago and didn't have a problem then.

On the other hand, I posted to the non-commerical list a couple of days ago and
the same thing happened there with no links in the email.

Anyhow, please excuse the test email.

I waited and actually sent another post, but that never showed up either.

Below is the actual text from my attempted post so see if it'll go through as a
reply to an existing message:

After writing the original version of a control panel called Maestro Control
Panel, I was contracted by a customer to write a linux based version which
required a complete re-write. I retained rights to the internal code and have
started re-writing the original Maestro Control Panel from scratch using the new
(and much better) framework created during my contract work with new
modifications to support functionality for the new version of Maestro.

Below is a flash/wink preso showing the application's intent and basic features
thus far.

Comments or suggestions are welcome.

Hmm. This went through. I am not aware the list is censored and if it is, the
original post seems within guidelines of this list.

problems. Nothing has changed. This list has some serious basic defects
as a platform to do business with.

The problem is our spam filter that fronts the list. I've been working
to tune it over the past several months, but it still rejects a certain
portion of legitimate posts, despite my best efforts.

I'll go in and try to tweak it a little more, but I can't guarantee
anything at this point.

Thanks for continuing to try to fix it.

If there are specific problems with specific people, could you not
whitelist them in your frontend, Jared? It shouldn't be that hard to
confirm that a message saying it's coming from Matt, actually is.

Worst case, you could require that people posting things that look too
much like spam sign them, and give you their public keys and whitelist
that way...

Cheers,
