Hosted solution.

Basically a calling card platform which would allow me to start a calling card business w/o the initial investment in hardware, software, collo expenses, etc.

Basically a web interface that would allow me to create and manage accounts/PINs as well as the underlying billing processed such as replenishing balances etc.

I'm sure there are companies out there that do it I'm just looking for the different pricing models. I find it difficult to believe companies charge 200 bucks a year and that's it unless it's a get what you pay for type deal.

Maybe be hard to believe, but we have resellers who do exactly that.
Not only calling cards, we do hosted PBX, fax to email, IVRs, the whole
kaboodle.

Calling cards there are no other charges besides minutes. If you use the
hosted PBX we also charge a per extension fee per month.

Hello Mike,
We can offer you a hosted calling card platform, complete with web interface
which will allow you to do everything you want, including creating new brands,
resellers, and prioritising routes/providers etc. Our price is dependent upon
number of E1's, minimum 1 E1. We can also help you in originating from
European market. Do you want to buy routes from us, or use your own routes?
Please call on 0044 (0)778878181 to discuss further.
Regards
Alexandra

Mike,

We also offer a hosted solution where you can use your own routes (or ours, or both completely up to you since you control the routing), set your own rates, etc. We give you the softswitch on a monthly rental, which includes the server, bandwidth, switch software and 24/7 support. Our hosted switches allow you to offer wholesale, retail ip origination / termination, callback services, pin-less dial services, calling card, and more. E-mail me off-list for more info.

Thanks,

Jon
