Can someone provide me 3rd party resporg services or name of a Company that provides such services?
I'd like to be able to host 46 TF's somewhere where I can maintain / automagically redirect calls towards Global Crossing TDM's should there be a problems on Vitelity SIP delivery?

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Thanks, Bart

I use Vitelity (well actually www.iax.cc) and originally used the
option to forward failed calls to my cell phone. Now I don't even use
their SIP except for testing. All inbound calls fail dialing via SIP
and then are routed to my cellphone.

Maybe I do not understand what you are asking, but I think Vitelity
has this built in. Take a look around the control panel.

Thanks,
Steve Totaro

I checked the web site, but didn’t see anything about them acting as RESPORG Host. But I’ll write them - Thanks

Bart,

I use http://www.pioneertelephone.com for 2 of my toll-free numbers;

may not be the cheapest but I can login to their webpage and instantly

change the local number the TF points to.

Hi Steve, I didn't see anything in Vitelity's control Panel for routing
other than to what's setup when you add the TF, but I'll check with them to
be sure.

I was sort-of trying to find a 'neutral resporg host' where they would not
be looking for any of my traffic, but would redirect my queries to the LD
provider of choice. Make sense?

Yes it does. And if these numbers are remotely vital to your business
I would suggest you use a reliable 3rd party resp. org and test any
fail-over solution before you actually need it.

I'm not a client, but I've referred other clients to them and I cannot
say enough good things about ATL in that respect. Check out
http://www.atlc.com/

They guy who wrote Telecom for Dummies (which thinks that PBX stands
for Post Branch Exchange) and cowrote Asterisk for Dummies (which has
some similar grade-1 screwup in the first 2 chapters) works for them,
if I read his bio right.

I don't know if that should be held to reflect on the company or not,
but there were *so* many dumb, obvious errors in the telecom book that
I don't know whether to trust the stuff he said about things I *don't*
know anything about.

Cheers,
