Hello -

Does anyone in this list had luck with Sonus equipment (Commpartners) and Callweaver? I am trying to do T38 fax-in (termination). Origination is ok.

I tried debugging the log but Callweaver fails in almost all cases to establish a handshake. The same config works with other carriers.

Callweaver invites nicely, other party responds and then Callweaver goes into a spin. The log shows some error message "bad state ..." by SpanDSP.

I tried disabling ECM but that didn't help at all. I think the T38 handshake is going wrong and Callweaver sends Bye.

Was anyone able to receive faxes through Sonus equipment?

Thanks.

The 1.2 branch in SVN was changed a few days ago to address some
negotiation problems. If you are running something older, can you try
the current SVN code?

Regards,
Steve

Steve, I thought it was a SpanDSP issue in the underlying code. Doesn't SpanDSP handle the negotiation and UDPTL for t38?

Thanks.

Negotiation is a SIP issue. SpanDSP plays no part in that, other than
telling the rest of Callweaver what its capabilities are.

Steve

Steve - its isn't an issue with SIP as I can see Callweaver reinviting and the recipient sending T38 packets. However, Callweaver sends Bye request sending few packets.

Dec 31 05:38:48 DEBUG[3057982368] app_rxfax.c: FLOW T.30 Send complete in phase T30_PHASE_B_TX, state 7
Dec 31 05:38:48 DEBUG[3057982368] app_rxfax.c: FLOW T.30 Bad state for send complete in t30_front_end_status - 7
Dec 31 05:38:48 DEBUG[3057982368] app_rxfax.c: FLOW T.38T No new frame or end transmission condition.

While, I am trying with the callweaver in SVN, I cannot get it to compile.

callerid.c:55: error: field `rx' has incomplete type
callerid.c: In function `mate_generate':
callerid.c:142: error: storage size of 'adsi' isn't known
